project 1: The Flip Book
Create a handmade Flip Book featuring a gatefold cover and a stack of layered, hinged pages that flip upward as you explore the book.
Using fabric, paper, painted surfaces, stitching, and treasured scraps, we’ll build a book full of texture, movement, and discovery. The focus is on layering, collecting, and creating rather than perfection—allowing raw edges, loose threads, and meaningful marks to become part of the story.
Adaptable and open-ended, this project is a beautiful way to use what you have on hand while creating a unique book that invites curiosity, touch, and return visits over time.

2. Out-of-the-Box Junk Journal
Build a one-of-a-kind book from unexpected materials—quirky, textured, and full of personality.

project 2: Out-of-the-Box Junk Journal
Turn an ordinary recycled box into a charming handmade junk journal filled with layers of texture and creativity. Using fabric, ribbon, stitching, painted papers, collage, and a vellum window that offers a peek inside, we'll create a unique journal ready for your personal touch.
This project is playful, approachable, and perfect for using scraps and found materials while exploring the joy of making without worrying about perfection.
project 3: Skinny Mini Journal
Create one of my signature Skinny Mini Journals by transforming an old book into a charming mixed media art journal.
We'll remove pages, sew in new ones, and embellish the cover with fabric and stitching, giving a forgotten book new life as a unique creative treasure.

Project 4: Pocket Bag Book
Create a stitched and collaged book from simple paper bags, complete with pockets for notes, cards, and tiny treasures. Using painted papers, fabric scraps, and layered details, we'll transform everyday materials into a charming handmade book, then tuck it inside a translucent vellum pouch for a beautiful finishing touch.

Turn an ordinary jar lid into a charming little home for three handmade circle books. Using washi tape, paper napkins, and fabric, we'll create unique lid covers and fold-out circle books perfect for favorite words, affirmations, tiny treasures, or creative play.
Simple, fun, and highly customizable, this project celebrates meaningful making on a small scale.
